A single oak carport shelters one vehicle and is the ideal choice for smaller driveways. We can add an enclosed store to one side for bikes, bins, tools or firewood, making the structure work harder without taking up more ground.

Double oak carports

Our most popular configuration, a double carport comfortably covers two cars side by side. Wide oak bays and a generous roof span give easy access while keeping the structure light and open.

Triple & multi-bay carports

For larger driveways, or where you need to shelter a mix of cars, a boat, a caravan or a horsebox, a triple or multi-bay oak carport provides flexible covered parking that can be extended with enclosed bays or storage.

Carports with a store or room above

How much does an oak carport cost?

Because every carport is bespoke, there is no single price — the cost depends on the number of bays, the roof design and covering, whether you add an enclosed store or a room above, and the groundworks your site needs. As a guide, a simple single-bay oak carport sits at the lower end of the range, while a multi-bay carport with storage or a room above is a more substantial investment. Do I need planning permission for a carport?

Many oak carports fall within Permitted Development and do not need a planning application, provided they stay under 4 metres to the ridge, are set back from the highway and do not exceed the coverage limits for your plot. Listed buildings, conservation areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (such as the High Weald) have tighter rules. We assess the position for your specific property, prepare any drawings required, and can manage the planning and building-regulations process on your behalf.
